Valerie is a board approved, Supervisor and a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in individual, adolescent, and couples therapy. Valerie has a  private practice that serves Katy, Cypress, West Houston and the Energy  Corridor. 

Valerie loves to collaborate with her clients and accompany them in their journey toward transformational healing. Valerie enjoys seeing clients achieve their goals in their personal and/or professional lives for the past 20 years. 

Valerie earned her M.A. in Community Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago, IL.

Gretchen Deveaux, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern

Gretchen is a former high school English teacher who has ventured into a second career of counseling.  It was during her teaching years that she realized that she desired to pursue a masters degree in Counseling.  While she enjoys all facets of counseling, she is especially passionate about working with individuals, families and adolescents.  Gretchen strives to equip her clients with the necessary tools to effectively navigate through the difficult times that they experience in their lives.

Shanna Gardner, LPC, Contracted Psychotherapist**

I believe the counseling process will help you identify effective strategies to cope with difficult situations in an open, supportive, and confidential environment to address the issues concerning you. I am a License Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have Master's of Education in Counseling from Texas Southern University in Houston, TX.

I have been in the mental health field since 2007, my experience includes, counseling children, adolescents, adults, families. I have expertise in the areas of depression, anxiety, family issues, crisis intervention, substance abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in Private Practice, Residential, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization programs and Inpatient hospitalization. I also have experience in individual and family treatment plans and an understanding of the DSM V diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder and mental health disorders.

Primarily, I use a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, however, I adapt quickly to the style that is needed by each individual client.
