Valerie is a board-approved, Supervisor and a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in individual, adolescent, and couples therapy. Valerie has a  private practice that serves Katy, Cypress, West Houston, and the Energy  Corridor.

Valerie loves to collaborate with her clients and accompany them in their journey toward transformational healing. Valerie enjoys seeing clients achieve their goals in their personal and/or professional lives for the past 20 years.

Valerie earned her M.A. in Community Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago, IL.

Monica Hicks,  LPC, Contracted Psychotherapist*

Monica obtained her Master’s in Education from the University of Houston-Victoria. Monica has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and she has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, and governmental entities. She uses a collaborative approach, recognizing that the client is the expert in their own lives. Using both cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, Monica works together with clients as a guide toward achieving their goals. Hope is a word many of us know but few still believe in. Monica's ultimate goal to assist members in finding hope again and work toward living their best lives.

Jasmin A. James, M.A., NCC, LCDC, LPC

Jasmin A. James, LPC, LCDC, NCC, is a conscientious and attentive therapist, whose aim is to provide hope and facilitate wellness in preteens, adolescents, and adults. Jasmin has helped clients improve their health and reach healing goals within inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, correctional male substance abuse recovery residential centers, and now private practice. She adapts to the client’s needs and values while using the appropriate treatment orientation. Jasmin utilizes, but not limited to, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. We will work together to achieve your desired health and wellness to thrive in life.

 

Jasmin earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Behavioral Health with Arizona State University.
